How can i remove click and collect on active items.

Is there a way of removing this option from my active listings.  I have only just noticed that this option has been automatically added.  I have found how to opt out for new ones  but it remains on active items   Can anyone help??

First of all go to your My eBay page and click on the Account tab.  When you do that a new page will load up, with Account Preference in the top right hand corner.  Under that heading there are a number of options - click on the option that says "Site Preferences" and a new page of the same name will load up.

When the Site Preferences page loads up scroll down the page to the Postage And Packing Preferences section and click on the link that says "Postage Preferences".  This will bring up a new page entitled "Manage Postal Settings".  The third line from the top of that page says "Click & Collect" on the left hand side of the page, and in your case will currently say "Enrolled" in the centre of that line.  Click on the "Edit" link to the right of that line, opt out of Click & Collect and then save the changes.  From that point onwards any items you list for sale should not display the Click & Collect option, although to be honest I'm not sure whether or not it deactivates it on current listings as I've never used it myself and have therefore had no need to have to deactivate it.

One other thing that I remember somebody telling me a few years ago now was that when he wanted to get rid of the Click & Collect option on his listings he revised the listings to change the despatch time so that it said that he despatched all items within four days, then he reinstated his original settings which said that he despatched all items within one day of receiving cleared payment.  Apparently this caused the Click & Collect option to be automatically removed from his listings as by stating that he despatched all items within four days it meant that the despatch times weren't fast enough to make the listings eligible for the Click & Collect option, and even when he reinstated his original settings to state that he despatched all items within one working day of receiving cleared payment the Click & Collect option never showed up on his listings again.

If you try the first option then if that automatically removes the Click & Collect option from all of your live listings then all well and good.  Otherwise, try the second option and see whether that works.  If neither option removes the Click & Collect option from your live listings then you'll either have to let the listings run to the end and hope that if any of your items sell the buyer will not choose the Click & Collect option, or alternatively if you don't have bids on the listing end the listing early, citing "Error In Listing" as the reason why and then relist the item again once you've opted out of having Click & Collect actively displaying on your listings.
