How can I stop eBay saying I will accept offers when they automatically relist? I

How can I stop eBay changing my listing to will accept offers  when they automatically relist my items?
I would rather relist myself.

if I list something at £2. 99 that's because that is the lowest price I will accept!

surely I'm not the only one that finds this irritating?

I get that as well, even though I deselect turn on best offer when I list a item, a week or so goes by then ebay automatically turns best offers on and I have to go and revise the listing,. I don't want offers on my items thank you ebay.
How can I get to switch the darn thing off please.

Every time my items are relisted I have to go back, like you say , and revise the item. One thing I have tried is Is to say I will only accept offers about £2 less than I am asking (on dearer items). I find if people really want to make an offer they message me anyway.

You should be able to click on Revise Your item, top left of listing and remove it.  When you first list an item use the advanced selling form, not the quick one or the app, and you can deselect Best Offer during the listing process.

When I list items I do choose to uncheck the best offer button, but when it relists it defaults back.
I have just noticed one of my items hasn’t resisted automatically. The only different thing I did was look at the choose the time you want to schedule the listing. Maybe, that’s a way round it?
