How can I protest a below standard seller rating if its been over 72 hours of "said" defect ?

I have had a couple of items that have arrived damaged or late because of the USPS that was no fault of my own.  I did not realize I could report them and have them removed however its been well over the 72 hours that eBay allows for a correction.  How can I protest this extremely unfair process of sticking it to a seller with this BS 4% punishiment to the seller?

Is it just me or does the Q&A help seem worthless.  It seems like I have to directly contact eBay for answers almost every single time!

You are asking this on the UK boards,  being based in America with an American registered account,  log out of here and into www.ebay.com they will be able to hopefully give you a more accurate answer than  from us here , as we do not have the USPS system of postage here,  so cannot help you,   to direct you to any necessary customer support of theirs.

Here our eBay Customer Support is severly reduced because of Covid , and the usual connection via the Help & Contact tab will bring you to a Live Chat option,  this may be the same in your country, scroll around for an alternatiove option to a phone contact.

In the UK late deliveries are being dealt with by ebay at the monthly review, but damaged items would not be included, seller would have to refund the buyer and seller claim on the Courier or Mail Company.

In the USA may be different, have you read any Ebay Announcements about Seller Standards.
