Had a 'buy it now' listing and i wanted to revise it

       The problem was i just wanted to revise a small detail in my description of the article, but when i selected 'revise' the whole item description had gone blank so i had to write the whole thing again. So did i do something wrong or is this now a normal thing to happen.

         The strange thing is when i created the listing and looked at it in 'preview' and then went back to the draft the whole of my descripton again disappeared!

        I've just started selling again on Ebay and dont remember any problem like this in the past.

It's funny you should say that. I'm a business seller on another account, and it occured to me yesterday that one of my multi-variation listings hadn't been getting any sales at all for a while. When I checked, I saw that the description I'd spent ages writing had completely disappeared. So no wonder views weren't converting to sales. I assume this must have happened after a revision, but I can't be sure. All I know is that it did happen at some point, and has cost me money in auto-relist fees. 😞

It was just that one listing, though, and I regularly revise my other listings, so it's just one of those weird and annoying Ebay glitches that happen from time to time.

Yes i suppose it could be a glitch but it was odd that when i initially previewed the draft and then went back to the draft my item discription had gone. So i had to rewrite the discription before listing it.

As you only had one item listed and it ended today, the simple explanation is that you cannot edit a listing in the final 12 hours.

I ended the listing today because the item description was blank, i have to redo it. The listing had only
been active 3 days.
