Ebay wont remove feedback from fraudulent buyer

I sold a sealed car ecu unit. A black plastic unit. The buyer opens the sealed unit and then sends me pictures of the inside circuit board saying it does not work. Then he opens a return. Wont reply to emails. I uploaded the pictures and ebay want you to offer partial refunds if the buyer returns a damged item. He sent me back the pieces of what was an ecu. So i used the partail refund and gave 50%. The then appaealed and ebay paid hte difference not me. Then emailed sending me an emai lsaying it would not be held against me.

It says on their guidlines that if you do a partial refund they will cover you for defects metrics etc.

Now he leaves negative feedback of course. The ynever miss a chance. Whne they are bad they are bad all the way.

He strips the item god know what he di or swapped He then get all his money.

I of course asked for feedback removal under the guidlines. Denied. Tried again a silly reply. I used chat as phones not available due to covid. Disaster got a total plank. Kept saying decision finan. He was like a parrot. I have it removed manually before so its toal rubbish. If its wrong its wrong. Im the victim of a fraud. Pic to support. Send out a complete sealed unti and a wannabee electronics engineed strips it. Turns out he is a back street mechanic. Toal waster. Its like buying a tv taking it home and then taking it apart and saying its faulty. Go back with it and say its faulty. Toally rediculous.

This guy is hte worst ever. He is that stupid he sent picture of the inside pcb board. Real winner.

Ebay are just fobbing me off. How can a scum buyer like this get away with this and then to ocmpound the loss refuse to remove the feedback he left. How come.

I am not going to let it drop . I wont be treated like this .EBAY customer service. Absultely incredible.

Whats hte point. Feedback is one sided and open t oabuse and then they wont remove it in case of fraud.

this is the very reason i`ve now stopped leaving feedback. i left a neg for someone a few weeks back after i never got my item, which may or not have been their fault, but they then stopped talking to me and made me run the full course of a dispute, so they got a neg ........... removed.

bought something of Discogs, guy was a nightmare to deal with, accused me of not returning full order and did`nt refund return postage that was promised, then made me wait 2 weeks in paypal for refund, so left neg ........ removed.

 i never leaves negs unless justified, but if ebay, or anywhere else for that matter, are going to keep removing `justified` negs every 10 minutes, then i`d rather not leave any and won`t from now on!

in relation to your issue, if they won`t remove it, i`m afraid there`s not alot you can do, except followup the comment with your own.

it will soon disappear off the page and in all honesty, 90% of buyers don`t read most feedback anyway, i know it`s besides the point, but i would`nt let it bother you 🙂

put the buyer on your block bidders list and move on, lifes too short to lose sleep over these losers!
