Customer refund

I've got a customer wanting a refund for an item they bought off me, saying it's arrived damaged but hasn't send the item back. What happens after the date runs out for them to return the item? Will ebay automatically give them their money back or does the case close because they haven't sent the item back?

As long as you issued returns label, wait until item is returned before refunding.

If item not returned within timescale ebay give buyer, then case times out in your favour, do not chase buyer or ebay.
