refunds not going through

ebay has an issue with my account, both accounts held for over 15 years, when they removed amex as a payment method, doesn't matter what card I have to do refunds ebay wont accept it, the cards load up and ebay charge fees and I can buy on the platform but cannot refund, have had 37 calls with ebay, payments, it, managers and they all basically have said its a glitch in the system, so when there a case I have been told to wait for the case to go in favor of the customer ebay then change me , I then have to call up get the neg comments and bad mark removed, i have been doing this since august last year seems crazy??? anyone else have this or know of a solution, as a business it takes so long to sort calling etc we are thinking of just giving up on ebay shame really we do hundreds of thousands on the platform but seems pointless , we would just have to invest more in ads on our own website instead and use amazon more?

refunds not going through

eBay's customer service representatives should not be advising you wait until buyers escalate and win MBG cases as every single case decided this way will result in a "case closed without seller resolution" defect.

You can change the preferred funding source for fees (including refunds) on this page. Click the "Selling preferences" bit then click "Selling costs" - you should be able to configure your bank account or another card as the default funding source for eBay fees and refunds from there.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
