"Postage Policies" vs Simple (very very complicated) Delivery

I notice Ebay still support "postage policies" (if you haven't heard about them this is not for you)

Question just for those who use PPs?

Do you know whether PPs override SD or vice versa (is it still worth using PPs to simplify listings)

I am currently using PPs on my listings with free postage, but not sure whether I'll still be able to buy my own Labels (collect RM 48).

SD seems to suggest the labels are auto generated with no option to book a collect which means going directly to Royal Mail to book every parcel separately Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

My relative with Private eBay Account uses Postage Policies for Letter & Large Letter items under £10 when listing.

The listing shows the Postage Policy & Custom Postage. She (the seller pays for the postage)

For her parcels Simple Delivery overrides any Postage Policies & the Buyers pays the postage from the Courier options she offers.

My payment, postage & returns policies are still holding firm against the dreaded simple delivery but not sure how much longer they'll hold out.

Are you still able to order your own labels still?
