Serial negative feedback giver

We received negative feedback today from a buyer called

The feedback was hugely unjustified as we sent a quality item made above the industry norm, they then left a stupid comment comparing our item to a rizla !!

i have since checked and this buyer is a serial negative feedback giver 31% of their reviews in the past year have resulted in negative feedback, and this continues historically

I have reported this buyer to Ebay, and will be blocking him and I am sharing this information with other sellers so you can be aware of this too

is the buyer

You cannot name and shame a buyer on the boards.

You are, at sometime, going to get a disgruntled buyer who leaves a neg. The world isn't perfect.  Nor are the buyers and sellers. Have a cup of tea and relax as I very much doubt it will be removed so its not worth getting upset over.

I'm not upset, just wanted to make others aware as this buyer seems to take great pleasure in giving negative feedback

Easy for me to say, but all you can do is be polite in the followup, as it often say's more about them than you.

One other tip for everyone i've picked up on over the years, is if you want to try and get feedback removed, do not leave a follosup comment till you've tried, because if you leave a followup first, Ebay won't remove it. No idea why, but why, but i think that's what happens 😉

All my Negs are serial Negative feedbackers. Most recent 8 negatives 1 Neutral in the last 10 purchases.

Ebay don't even bother looking at any of the reports nowadays. I just get bot replies that are not even relevant. I'm female and work in the car industry buying old stock. I often get really offensive remarks from customers, I report them but ebay just dont care.

Wasn't the case for me, just had a neg removed, I'd already followed it up before I thought, hang on, this (the buyers comment) probably isn't allowed anyway. Was removed within minutes of report...

I'd laugh if it's the same buyer I had, he's left over 100 negs and neutrals and doesn't ever seem to buy anything that makes him happy. He is also a complete [CENSORED].

There is however very little you can do about it. However, I think he had complained enough he had the eBay MBG suspended and couldn't make INAD claims. The new removal policy is a lot more comprehensive so it is worth a look to see (I haven't seen it) if your feedback could be removed?

That is useful to know.  Obviously, leaving a polite and factual follow up comment should be the last resort when all other options have failed.

Just had an ebay rep say dont open a report or removal request on the weekend, they dont have the staff to review it so there are mass rejections on weekends. He said best times to do it is on Monday to Friday ideally in working hours in the time zone you live in.
