Ebay App

Morning all.

I realise that the App no longer works on older phones (mine included), but I have a customer who is trying to contact me about some roman blinds they want. They only have a phone and a tablet, both of which don't support the App.

My question is, if I click to reply via my email provider, will the email be recieved directly into their email provider ? ie, bypass the App

I need her to send me a couple of pictures of her windows

the customer will still get emails IF they have setup to receive emails. they could still login to ebay via an internet browser as well to do what they need to do.

Thanks for the reply, I did send an email, she has replied, so that worked, problem is, she has sent her contact info, I hope she doesn't get bumped for doing that.

The situation regarding the APP is bizarre, I sell a fairly niche product, so my customers are usually pretty determined to make contact, but I wonder how much this will effect other sellers.

I for one have no intention of buying a new phone just because I can't download the app.
