EBay customer service non existent

Been with EBay since 2007 but after today, waiting for a refund.  I will get my money back of £245 and then close my account.  Best way to show this company how unhappy I am with the *bleep* chat bot service is to buy else where.  Less Buyers and falling profits might sort this company out.

What happened - are you the buyer or the seller involved?

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

In my experience it's always better to go all through the help section until you get a contact method and choose "call me"  - if you're in the UK and you do this early afternoon, you'll usually get one of the Irish team and they can prettymuch sort anything out for you, even when ebay policy is to do the opposite... if you get no joy with the first person you speak to, ask for a supervisor, if no joy there ask for a team leader, then a manager, you'll eventually reach someone who will do what you're asking or instruct for it to be done.  Try it now just to check on that refund and see how you get on - speaking to a human might change your mind - they do exist in ebay!

I have been an eBay customer for nine years, and have always had good customer service from the sellers.  However, I have recently, within the last few days I have experienced problems with two different sellers who were rude and nasty, one of them after advertising free P&P then contacted me and wanted another £10 which I refused to pay.  The other supplier when I asked a couple of questions was nothing short of aggressive I was stunned by their response.  Contacting eBay used to be easy but no longer I'm afraid, I think they may all be hiding behind their desks.  I don't want to start on that useless automated chat system.

Exactly what do you want customer service to do?

How about being easier to contact.
