EBay changing sell similar listings to free postage

Ok

so I ended a couple listings tonight and did a sell similar instead of relist 

on looking on my selling page afterwards it  said free postage

the original listing had postage on it

just watch out for this

Whenever I list, re-list or sell similar I always check things as I don't trust ebay not to make a change that will be bad for me, good for them.

A previous example of this was ebay activating 'best offer' when I would relist an item which did not have 'best offer' activated.

Got to watch them like a hawk as they are as devious as all get out and have proven they can not be trusted.

The system is very volatile at the moment

i just tried it again and it now says plus postage 3.12

what the heck is that anyway 3.12

 something that’s been constant though  is they change the size of the parcel to cabin luggage  when it’s been small parcel (shoe box) on the original listing

YES we need to double check everything with the messed up new postal system , special delivery or custom

I don't believe very much in ebay 'mess-ups' I believe in deliberate changes that benefit them in the pursuit of satisfying their greed.

A previous recent example is the combining invoice 'glitch', customer services where instructed to lie their a$$'s off about that and told callers that there was a problem and it would be fixed in x days.  The truth is, that came out gradually, they disabled it as they were not able to collect the BPF on each item.

Yes, 'best offer' does have a habit of sneakily activating itself when relisting items... I think it happens if you switch from auction format to 'buy it now'. eBay can't stop interfering these days!

I didn't change anything, ebay just deviously activated it.

They did it so that my listing would end sooner, wouldn't be cluttering up their platform so long and they would get their cut sooner, of course also expecting me to accept less for the item I was selling.

Ooer. I've only had it activate itself when switching format. Sounds like it's gone rogue...
