Was trying to sell something which I didn’t do since 2009, realised that my account was restricted to sell since 2012, talked to the agent, they didn’t give me a reason why it was restricted (some reason they said cannot be disclosed) and it’s permanent, then turned off the chat.
well I’m going to sell at other platform, just feeling offended for being restricted without knowing why.
just wondered if anyone had this experience before.
thanks for watching.

No recent activity and eBay may have restricted access for security reasons ... account inactive for more than a year and will need to be updated > Something in account setup is missing or incomplete ... Apps can often be very unreliable so suggest using a PC/Laptop to recheck settings including placing Current UK Banking account and Card details on file in order to send and receive payments through Managed Payments. >

Unfortunately, suspensions are permanent, and once banned from eBay you can no longer sell
They call them indefinite suspensions, but they actually mean permanent
After 12 years it is unlikely they even know the reason any more, it should have been sorted at the time

I believe there are thousands of accounts on eBay with no activity for over a year... I have had this discussion with eBay as to why they are allowing those accounts to stay and bid or make offers and then they do not pay! This has happened three times to me and now I have to check each bidders account particular on offers, as many are not genuine.

Your account is registered in Hong Kong
If you don't live in Hong Kong this might be the reason, but you would need to ask on the boards for your country to get a proper answer as the rules may be different

Thank you all for your replies, at least there're some sensible reasons I got banned instead of purely being framed as an ingenuine user or something.
