I know some people don't like simple delivery but ,to me it has been a godsend .Most of my items are sent by Evri (not my choice ) I don't have a printer of smart phone just a laptop which I don't fancy walking about with in public but i take the number from the bottom of the QR code to the parcel drop off shop which is in a post office ,they tap the number into the system and out pops a label which gets stuck on the parcel and that's my job done . So as long as I keep getting EVRI all is great ,Royal mail is a little trickier because the post office staff can't tap the number into the system they need an actual QR code to scan it but my partner has worked out how to get my QR code sent to his gadget and we take that to postoffice for them to scan . But with simple you don't need money to send the parcel because the buyer has paid for the label . The staff in the postoffice are very friendly and super efficient and even if we have to join a queue at the counter we are in and out in a few minutes .The evri parcels are collected from the post office at 12.30pm everyday (not sundays ) and the parcel bags are full up every morning when we get to post office ,so alot of parcels going with Evri . I have read that people say EVRI is expensive ,but you couldn't drive from wales where i live to say scotland or london or birmingham for £2.94 to deliver small parcel yourself or even drive to pick parcel up . so the cost is not bad at all even for lager items the cost still isn't bad .I source my packing materials from supermarkets (boxes )and a local mountain warehouse often dispose of boot boxes and thick card so the only cost to me is packing tape .
