my item sold with a qr code I cannot deal with these so the customer gave me the postal details so he paid p\p cost but I also had to pay so I now want a refund from ebay..

As advised, the buyer paid Ebay direct for the postage so the buyer will be refunded by Ebay.

There is no way to claim the postage back if you paid at the Post Office.

Do you usually print your labels to stick on your parcels?  Sellers are not usually forced to use a QR code, generally you can either print your label or choose to use the QR code.

Your buyer paid eBay for the label if you didn't use it the buyer will be refunded for the postage they paid
