international selling

I am in the UK. When my customer enters their address in China eBay states that I do not ship to China. Last month I lost a customer in Ireland for the same reason. I have selected International shipping on my items so why can I not sell abroad any more?

eBay's Global Shipping process does not accept some items to some countries.   The alternative is to opt out of GSP in your postage preferences and put direct postage on your listings.  You can look up international prices on the Royal Mail website.

Thanks. Is there a list somewhere of what is and what is not allowed to be sent to certain countries?

but they seem to add a few extra ones now and again.
