Hi ,
I'm a seller and have been using simple delivery for a while (RM and Evri), and print my own labels, but a few days ago a buyer selected Inpost, which just gives a QR code. So it is my first label-less parcel.
I took it to an Inpost locker on Saturday morning, scanned the QR code, a door popped open, I put the parcel in and clicked confirm.
So what should happen now with tracking? When I try and track it it says "next steps drop your parcel at a locker" even though I did 3 days ago. Is it simply just waiting for an Inpost person to collect it before it would go to despatched (which surely they should have done by now)? The FAQs imply it should have updated it as soon as I put it in the locker.
If for some reason things have gone wrong, how can it be rectified as the parcel has no label whatsoever on it?

Inpost say:
If your parcel hasn’t updated on tracking for 48 hours, have no fear. Occasionally they can get a little bit delayed – but we usually get things moving again within 24 hours. If there’s been no update for 72 hours, then feel free to get in touch with our Customer Care team and they’ll do some digging.
There's a contact link on here:

Thanks, I did try contacting Inpost but they say as the label was generated by ebay I have to go through them.
ebay support just say wait for longer and see what happens.

Been another week and the inpost tracking still says "waiting for sender to dispatch the item", and on the order page on ebay it says "you need to post this item by 25 Feb".
I have contacted the buyer that it seems to have gone lost and told them to select the "item not arrived" option on Wednesday when that option becomes available.
What concerns me now is that with simple delivery , the T&Cs state...
You remain responsible for any loss or damage to your item until it has been scanned into the carrier’s network. Once your item has been scanned into the carrier’s network and providing you used the Simple Delivery label and are compliant with these Terms and eBay’s Policies
And from ebays point of view they are still waiting for me to scan it into the carriers network, so am I not covered by the simple delivery guarantee? From my point of view, I scanned the QR code, the door on the locker popped open, I put it inside, closed the door and pressed confirm. but I have no way of proving this if the tracking says it's still waiting for me to put it in a locker?
