Was this simple delivery?
Who paid the refund?

If you used eBay's Simple Delivery and the buyer opened a "not received" case ebay will have issued the refund themselves and you will have kept the payment. So you won't have lost anything.

Refusing to accept delivery is supposed to disqualify the transaction from eBay's money back guarantee.
But strangely when simple delivery is used, and eBay itself is responsible for refunding for non-delivery, they seem to almost rubber-stamp claims. The seller even gets to keep items that are returned.
I didn't think this would last for ten minutes once eBay realised how much it was going to cost them. But it's still happening. All I can say is that they must be making a LOT of money from the buyer protection fee and their cut of simple delivery payments.
