Did you mean:

You've received payment for this item - relist ??

Can anyone explain what the heading 'You've received payment for this item - relist' means - can you override the sale and return monies received and relist??

No it does not. Cancelling a sale without good reason s the sellers account.

This is just another of ebay’s ill thought out schemes, but is a reminder that if you have a other of the same, you can use relist rather than  create a new listing.

Alternatively if you have a non payer, you can relist AFTER  4 days, when you cancel original sale for non payment.

Bear in mind that buyers are allowed  Four days to pay, before you should even think about relisting, unless asked to cancel by buyer., then it is up to you.

Thank you for explaining the reason for that.
