What about seller protection??

Despite my listing saying I do not accept returns unless faulty or not as described, and me confirming this to buyer they went ahead and bought a pair of jeans worth £140. Once received, they say they don't fit, and asked for a return. I declined the return so they contacted eBay. Ebay refunded the money to them and closed the case but sent me a message saying I wasn't at fault. The buyer now has the jeans and the refund, and I am left substantially out of pocket. When I contacted the buyer they told me to go through ebay as ebay told them no further action was required of them.

To me, this is a blatant abuse of the buyer protection scheme. Because they paid a couple of pounds for protection I have to swallow a large loss despite me paying a monthly fee which buyer isn't.

I've tried contacting ebay but it just send me round in an automated circle and I get nowhere.

This coupled with ebays "new" fees structure (ie charging buyer protection so selling is free), means my sales are down by 60% since introduced in February.

Now totally disillusioned by Ebay, and not sure where to turn to as I want the money or item returned to me.

This is not the only item this has happened with recently. Another  buyer also told me an item was damaged. I refunded in good faith awaiting the return of item. They now tell me they cant return as the item is being used!!!!! What the actual???? Ebay sided with buyer as I'd already refunded despite messages from buyer saying they were still using "damaged" item.

Another issue is my feedback, its turned into a yoyo. Have no idea why it keeps going up and down, but it can vary +/- by up to 13 feedback so far. Again, any advice on this appreciated.

I would close account as thats how annoyed I am with it all, however I unfortunately took out a sales related loan on the account which would have now been cleared if my sales hadn't dropped by over 60% in past four months. I also have close to 500 active listings with over 1000 orders completed and have built up a solid profile of happy customers over the past 13 months. I'm now only listing stock to try and pay off the loan.

Finally, payments are supposed to be made within 2 days of buyer receiving item. I've now found that any sale over £20 is taking a minimum of two weeks to get to me. In some cases its more than 2 weeks after the customer has left feedback that I actually get the payment.

Any help on any or all of these issues would be greatly appreciated. I've tried going in via resolution centre but just keeps kicking me out, and I can only address one single issue. I want to put all of the above to ebay but cant find any way of contacting them without it being automated respones with no resolution,

Any help and advice appreciated

Unless things have changed that means eBay made a courtesy refund from their own pocket.

Check your account to confirm that no money has been taken from you.
