Unpaid offer

Buyer made an offer but payment was unable to be processed.  The offer remains active and i cannot reduce the price of my item due to restrictions.  How can I remove an offer that hasn't been paid?

If the offer was accepted go to your orders page, click on the dropdown menu arrow alongside the item and select Cancel order.   If the buyer has asked or agreed to cancel use the reason Buyer asked to cancel.   If not you can cancel after 4 days with unpaid as the reason.

Thanks.  Offer was accepted, payment declined so there is no order to cancel but it's still showing as 'active order' and not allowing me to change price!

You might have to end the listing and relist.

There is nothing to fear.

Ending and relisting an item will not incur any costs unless you has any listing upgrades there.

Any previous watchers, unless they have their communication preferences set to say differently,  they will be notified the item has been relisted.

From what you say, you have preferences set to require immediate payment when an offer is accepted so if no payment the sale did not happen so continued and another person could buy.

However there will be a time,  I do not know how long, probably 4 days during which the “buyer” can still pay, and you cannot edit. zit is possible that until offer period has expired, you sill not be able to end, but in any case there is no need to end to relist, it should just continue in the normal way.
