UK to Germany

A buyer asked me if i would send an item to germany i adjusted my listing to enable this and took item to post office so it was sent correctly.  Today the parcel has arrived back with me but has no red sticker or notice why so im baffled. I will have to refund the buyer for the item but will i have to refund postage too? i will be out of pocket by £7 postage even though i only charged the seller £4.80 for postage.

Has it got a yellow Deutsche post label on it or any id 🆔 n it? Was the customs declared correctly when you originally posted it.

No just a white label over the buyers address(which i have just translated) and im stull a bit puzzled.

 

i actually purchased the postage label via ebay so all the info is what ebay provided.
