We have found 2 items on ebay of high value that have been stolen from us. What do we do? We have reported to the police and have a crime number

There is a report item link on every listing.
Find the question mark in a circle at the bottom right of the listing.
Then follow this:
Report 'product or listing'
Choose 'item not allowed'
Choose 'stolen property'
Add the cime number and other brief details to 'additional details'
Click 'submit report'.
Don't be surprised or disappointed if the items are not removed. If Ebay take any action against the seller or sellers you won't be told what has happened. The official advice from Ebay if you see stolen items on the site is to report it to 'law enforcement' which you have already done.

You vcan find eBay's policy on stolen property here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/stolen-property-policy?id=4334&st=3...
You have done as eBay requests, and reported it to the police. eBay won't discuss it with you, but there is a prodedure whereby the police can contact the police if they wish.
You can try reporting the listing to eBay, as has been suggested, but don't be surprised if no action is taken unless the police contact them. This is the company that won't even take the buyer's word that the "proof of delivery" photo isn't even their own home!
