The star ratings on eBay show off how much positive feedback a member has received.

Yes, I understand that, but I wondered what each colour signified - how
many people rated them well, according to the colour given.

The stars only indicate how many feedbacks a member has received,to judge the quality of a seller you need to read the feedback comments left.Also the little gold stars by their feedback can indicate where possible problems may lie such as postage cost description etc.
