Sending very large item

I have a very big item to send to a buyer - it’s a pallet - eBay want me to get a label/QR code which is inappropriate. It needs to go by a specialist haulier - what do I do?

You should have sorted out the appropriate delivery method and cost before listing. 

You should cancel the sale and start again, not using Simple Delivery.

With respect it appears simple delivery came into affect after I listed the item so your rather aggressive reply is not appropriate!

If it's the Porsche silencers, we don't know when you listed it but the listing was last amended on 19 May so it is certainly possible that it predates simple delivery. It would have helped to mention this when asking.

You listed for delivery as freight for £40, which sounds sensible. Those more familar with simple delivery may know whether this item can be retrospectively opted out, or whether as papso22 has said you may have to cancel and relist within the new t&c. Or contact eBay customer support.

Problems with simple delivery are dominating this board. eBay should have set up a dedicated helpline for questions instead of dumping them on volunteer users.
