Sellers given no notification when buyer retracts bid

There are many notification options across both buying & selling but I am very surprised to find that eBay does not notify sellers when a buyer retracts a bid. It isn't even possible to collect details of the member who made the bid, & in this particular case, withdrew it after more than 9 days.
Surely it is helpful for sellers to have the information should such a thing happen again, possibly from the same bidder.

Ebay do send you an email to your Ebay inbox.

You can also see who has cancelled the bid.

Find the listed item and click on it.  Beneath the price, if it now says '0 bids' click on that.

You will see the bidder's name and the reason for the bid retraction.

I always add people who do this to my 'blocked' list.

Sellers given no notification when buyer retracts bid

Sadly none of this has happened on my listing. The bid was there for over a week but then disappeared. Have checked clicking the 0 bids (no information on retracted bid or identity) & no message from ebay neither on here or in my emails.
All very strange & mysterious.
