I recently sold an extra large item. When it came to eBay estimating the cost it offered me (after getting the dimensions and weight) postage for 5.88 via Yodel. Once the sale was made and the buyer paid the price plus postage I went to print the label. THEN eBay said Yodel couldn't deliver this size of parcel and my only option was Parcelforce at £13.63. So I had to stump up the extra myself. This isn't the first time this has happened. How do I get a correct postage price from eBay? Whats going on here?

Was the actual packaged size larger than the dimensions you put?

TBH. I wouldn't expect Yodel to accept parcels of that size.
Sometimes you need to use common sense, ebay postage estimate is not always reliable.
