Seller not honoring the warrenty that came with the product

Hi can anyone help me resolve a problem i have I bought an electric scooter from a seller and it came with a 2 year warranty ive owned it 10 months and in the first 2 weeks of purchase it had a fault I contacted the seller and he was very helpful and sent me new handle bars whitch I changed over myself and everything was fine 9 months on and my stem on the scooter has snapped I messaged him saying my warranty should cover this and he told me the technician said it can't be fixed and hasn't spoke to me since .....this is clearly a faulty design or factory fault can anyone tell me what I can do next ive tried to contact ebay and just keep going around in circles I don't know how to contact ebay to get some help can anyone advise me please many thanks

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

 

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.  Unfortunately after 10 months,  you'll be too late to claim from your payment provider.

 

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.
