If you are being charged listing fees, they are not credited or refunded if something doesn't sell.

If there are selling fees then you have to cancel on the basis of non payment to get them credited.

Ending a listing early can also result in fees.

Scam

Listings fees are never refunded.  You can compare this to listing your car in your local paper , if it didn't sell,  the paper would not refund you your advertising fees.

If you are thinking of relisting the car,  take a read of how to do so in a Classified ad format, most will tell you it's the best way to list a vehicle on eBay.  The listing fee is slightly more,  I believe it's still £19.99 and non refundable payable sale or no sale,  but you could if you wish,  add all those listing fees to your starting price of the car when you relist.

Scam

Hardly a scam, just a time and money wasting non payer. If you do not cancel sale after 4 days for non payment, then you will get charged a selling fee.
