Retuning a damaged item

I have been refunded  for a damaged  item before  I have received  a return  label from the seller.  I do not know how to return  now, neither does the seller. Seller said she has not got a label to send me for return  post, and said Ebay was sorting it out.

Should she have access to a return  label for me?

Seller should have waited until item was returned before refunding.

As they refunded 1st, ebay close case as they assume seller does not want item back.

Seller can buy label from carrier and send it to you or send money, maybe via PayPal so you can buy postage.

Ebay won't get involved now.

If you opened a claim saying the item was damaged in transit and (another) if the seller used Ebay Simple Delivery, then Ebay would refund you without requiring you to return the item.

I would guess this is what has happened.

So, the seller gets paid, you get a refund from Ebay and get to keep the item to dispose of as you wish.

If you had an email from Ebay confirming the refund, what does it say?

Retuning a damaged item

Hi

Thanks for your response.
I received  payment for the item and my original  delivery cost. No return  label as it is now saying  refunded and delivered back to seller.
She must have paid too quickly.
I don't know what to do now though. Seller is waiting on the item but I don't have payment to post it back.
Would she have been refunded also?
