Refund gone wrong

Hi, I sent some trainers back to a seller in plenty of time for a refund and heard nothing. Since then eBay has said too late for refund. Today the trainers have come back to me from Royal Mail saying the seller never collected the trainers from them.  What do I do. I can not find a way to contact eBay. I have emailed the seller, but nothing as yet. Thank you for any help.

If ebay have said it's too late then there won't be anything you can do on here to get your money back (cases have to be started within 30 days and  escalated within another 30 days).   You could try contacting your payment provider and see if they can help.

The absolute key thing here is the tracking.

I assume you returned the trainers using a tracked method, through an Ebay case, to the address the seller provided?
If you did all of those things, and the tracking shows that there was an attempt to deliver to the seller, then you can appeal.

If you didn't open a case, or send using a tracked method, then you could perhaps cut your losses and sell the trainers yourself.
