I am trying to refund a buyer however when I put my card details in I keep getting a message saying they can’t verify my details.  This is a Barclay card which I use in a regular basis

has anyone else had this problem ??

How much validity is on the card, does it have over 6 months validity?

Which device or browser are you using ?

If the app or mobile browser, add those details with a laptop / PC and try Chrome, that seems to work well with eBay.

I do not think you should be using a card to make a refund.

You use the refund link in the drop down menu, refund is then made either in full or part with money in your ebay account, or from bank account. The bank account to which you use for transfers from ebay.

I’ve had the card for a number of years and Barclays account since 1974! I
don’t have any other problems with the card.
I have my address and phone number, the address since 1976’
Phone number for 10 years.

Are you saying I should use another browser ?

I wasn’t trying to use my card to give the refund. I went through the
refund procedure and I was asked what my card details were, when input them
in. The red message came up telling me to use another card as they couldn’t
verify my details.
I’ve done eBay for years and this is the first time I’ve encountered this
problem.
