Protection on parcels

I've sold something with simple delivery. When I go to get the label it shows the buyers preferred option which they paid for. So far so good. However, twice the services available don't cover the value of the item and I have a banner at the top to specifically buy cover.

Is this new?

Hilariously simple delivery is not available as a label

With Simple Delivery if the item is lost or damaged you are protected as the seller.   eBay refund the buyer and you keep the payment for the transaction.
