Of course the seller should not use bad language, but private sellers are allowed to refuse returns.
There are lots of rules regarding feedback. If, for example, you complained that the seller refused your return, they could ask to have the feedback removed on the grounds they are allowed to refuse returns.
What is the item and why did you want to return it?

What sort of return did you open, private sellers can refuse “change of mind” returns, and using “does not fit” come under that heading.
A private seller has to accept “Not as described “ returns, so long as opened within the 30 days allowed. If they refuse and you do not escalate to ebay it will run out of time and close.

I'm guessing you used "Doesn't fit" as the reason which as has been said is classed as a "change of mind" return which private sellers can refuse. If the size was the seller's mistake you should have use "not as described" which all sellers have to accept.
There's nothing else you can do on ebay but contact your payment provider and see if they can help with a refund.
