How can it be, (yes I know the answer but....) I have just bought an item, the listing stated

  1. Free Standard 2-3 Day Courier with Age Verification.
  2. Located in: Isleworth, United Kingdom
  3. Estimated between Tue, 31 Mar and Thu, 9 Apr to

Point 3 contradicts Point 1, however, I thought as item location (Point 2) is less than 150 miles from me I would get in soon. But I recieved a message today "Estimated delivery: Mon, 30 Mar - Tue, 07 Apr" and when I click on the Tracking number Evri are waiting for it!! - There should be a rule that if I tem location is stated thats where it should be, and not in China!

You have to take the seller's dispatch time into consideration.

Yes, I'm fully aware of that but,  the message i got this morning was with a tracking number and an expected delivery date. My beef is, if they say it's in Isleworth then that is where it should be, Ebay need to enforce the national/international selling rules.

I'm just a grumpy old so-n-so.

Why do you think it is in China though?  Does the tracking number show it is coming in from overseas?

If you bought a brooch from me today, with Royal Mail 48 hour tracked delivery, the estimated delivery date is this - Estimated between Tue, 31 Mar and Thu, 9 Apr.

Possbly longer than usual due to the Easter weekend, but mainly reflecting my dispatch time of 5 days.

I am certainly not in China.
