Hello,
I recently sold an item, and had to open the "Address Label" link in order to ascertain the address to post the item to. I then posted it through my local Post Office, but not using the system as I do not have that technology. The buyer has the item, but until marked received it seems that I will not be paid. I have also been charged for a postage service that I did not use. I could really do with this money and have no idea what to do now. Thank you for any assistance received.

That's ebay's new Simple Delivery system. Their label cannot be cancelled without cancelling the whole transaction but it's worth asking ebay if they will refund the cost.
First see if you can add the new tracking to the order by going to the Order Details > Postage > dropdown menu (beside track package) > Add Tracking > + Additional Tracking Number. If not contact ebay and ask them to do it and ask about the refund. You can use callback on here:

You need to at least get it showing as dispatched. If the tracking doesn't update after that you will have to wait 14 days for the payment to be released.
To opt out of Simple Delivery during the listing/revising process click on "Switch to advanced options" at the bottom of the postage section, and again on the pop-up you'll get.
If you're not getting the switch link remove the pre-entered postage weights and the link should reappear. If not click on Collection Only, then click back to Postage Only and Custom Options should appear, which is what you want.
