Postage refund if buyer collects

Sold an item which had seller (me) paying postage or buyer collect. Buyer paid and then we agreed I would hand him the item as he lives nearby. However, eBay has deducted postage from the buyer's payment. Can I get this back?

Postage refund if buyer collects

If you had collection as an option on your listing then your buyer should've selected this option at checkout then, when they paid, they'd be given a code which they give to you on collection (or when you deliver) to prove that they have their item.

If they selected postage then you should post the item out to them, or cancel the order and relist with collection and they can repurchase.
