Postage fees

Hi Its first time  posted an item, the buyer paid £1.55 for a label I've just posted the item and got charged £8.60. I don't know what to do, and have tried to find help with the eBay assistant and this hasn't been very helpful

That doesn't look like a simple delivery price so presumably you chose the postage to charge the buyer.

It was then up to you to buy the postage from Royal Mail.  If that cost more than you charged then you have to cover the difference.

Ebay can't help with that.

Your toys were advertised as postage at £1.55 a large letter 2nd class, it is clear from your listing that this would never be the case.

Unfortunately in this scenario you have to pay the difference not the buyer or ebay. It is your responsibility to ensure listings are accurate.
