The item I sold worked perfectly fine,now they've bought it they're saying it's doesn't work and needs a partial refund for parts. To me, this smells fishy. Any help . I'm new to eBay.

If you're sure that it doesn't require some new parts then tell them to open an eBay return and you'll refund them when you receive it back.

You will need to issue and pay for a returns label via the return case.
