Policy violations

Over the last couple of months we have had items removed for policy violations (selling an item that could be used to impersonate a police officer, military personnel etc. etc.) - we specialise in selling badges, mainly small enamel lapel badges or cap badges.  The most recent items removed included a 1cm high police helmet and a pair of should boards/epaulettes they were police but they were actually US Airforce !!  Another item recently removed was a brooch silver colour diamante set Turkish knife - this was in violation of the knife policy - it’s a 4cm long brooch !!!

We have never re-listed as we know this would not do us any favours but is there any way that we can ask that the “BOT” looks at the description/title rather than the picture - it is so frustrating

There was a similar question yesterday, seller with uniforms.

It seems AI is picking up the wrong reason for removal.

I can only suggest trying to get callback.

Not easy at the moment, it's said use link from phone.

“BOTs” can only follow their programming, they do not look at a description or title, it is the humans who are responsible and they are probably not sufficiently knowledgeable.

I did see recently a seller who had a problem listing a Jigsaw Puzzle, as the bots. recognise the word Jigsaw as a bladed item.
