Hello,

 

I’m contacting you regarding my payout, which I still haven’t received. I sold an item about 15 days ago, and the funds are still not available in my account.

 

I recently updated my banking details to another UK bank account. I understand there is a security hold of up to 48 hours after changing banking information:

 

“As a security precaution, payouts to your bank account ending in 2424 will be delayed for up to 48 hours because you recently changed your banking info.”

 

However, I have already been waiting significantly longer due to the sale date, and I urgently need access to my funds.

 

Could you please review my case and release the payout as soon as possible? I’m also willing to provide any verification documents required, including ID or proof of account ownership.

Although being told that changing bank details especially for a new seller takes 48 hours to verify ,  it will usually take much longer.

 

As a new seller if you have already changed your bank details,  this unusual activity will hold your initial payouts longer , it could be up to 30 days,  but eBay will not be able to reveal to you the length of hold as each account is different and checked and viewed on its merit.

 

All I can say it will definitely be longer than 48 hours.

 

It will be released you just have to wait a little longer.

Hello,

 

I recently changed my bank details and I understand there is a security hold on payouts for up to 48 hours.

 

However, it has now been almost 48 hours and my payout is still not released. I have a completed sale of £500 pending, and I urgently need access to these funds today to cover essential living costs.

 

Could you please review my account and manually verify my details if needed? I am happy to provide any documents required to speed up the process.

 

I would really appreciate your help in resolving this as soon as possible.

You are not speaking to eBay here,  but to members like yourself.

 

As a new seller if you have also recently changed your registered bank account to newer details,  your payout may be held for longer,  as this could be seen by eBay as unusual activity,  so they'll need to be 100% sure the real account holder has made these changes.

 

You can contact eBay Customer Services see if they require any other forms of verification from you,  or that it's just a hold for security reasons.  If the latter , because of security,  they will not say how long the hold may be,  it could be 30 days.


Contact CS with the link below for a Call Back option.  Try at 8 a.m. on weekdays as there's more chance of Dublin answering. It's a Call Back option, so you'll hear if it's Ireland calling!
