Payment changes from Feb 2025

UK-based private sellers will be paid after item delivery, from 4 Feb. Your funds will be available in your eBay balance two days after delivery confirmation.**

These are the new rules

Does this mean Ebay will pay a Private Seller when tracking information can be seen to have the items delivered to the courier

OR does it mean when the Buyer receives the item

If the latter its going to be chaos as Buyers wont worry, same as many do with ignoring Feedback requests

You will be paid 2 days after the item is delivered.

That means, when tracking shows delivery.

There is not any mechanism for buyers to mark items as received, it will be dependent on the tracking being updated/items being scanned as delivered.

You will be paid 14 days after sending.

Delivery confirmation was ambiguous to mysellf in Ebays information which I copied and pasted above

It could have been tracking showed delivery, but then again it could be the Buyer, as numerous times you hear of people saying they personally have not had an item delivered inspite of tracking saying it has

Fortunately  jckl1957 answered me clearly and concisely regarding what I queried because I was unclear and YES I did read the detail and didnt fully understand hence my post to a Community Forum where POSITIVE help is sought, not effectively being told to RTFM as happens on far too many forums
