New postage policy

Good Evening

Today i sold an item and have found that the postage function has changed.

Previously i would print the address and take the item (s) to the post office and pay for the postage.

I use a PC / Desktop for all my ebay buying and selling and all other things, and have never used the ebay app.

When i went to "Create My Label" it is asking for me to scan a QR Code.

I have an old mobile phone and have never been able to scan a QR code, somebody tried to download a third party QR code but still did not work.

Update:

I was trying to check my phone as i have not logged into the ebay app for years and have found that i cannot even update the ebay app due to the fact that my phone is a Samsung S7 and that the final android version is 8.0, it is not possible to update to beyond 8.0 as Samsung stopped support a few years ago.

I know the solution is to purchase a new phone, but unfortunately i can't afford a new one at this moment.

As stated in my first post i use my PC / Desktop for almost everything including buying and selling on ebay.

I will contact ebay today and hopefully get a call back and see if they have a solution.
