If you're still within eBay's 30 Day Money Back Guarantee (I feel you may not be now though) you should open an eBay return and select 'missing parts' as the reason.
The seller must provide a pre-paid returns label, you return the order and get a full refund.

If it's still within 30 days of the delivery date start a return on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
select "Item doesn't match description" and escalate it to eBay after 3 complete working days.
If it's more than 30 days I'm afraid it's too late to do anything via ebay but if it's still within 120 days of payment contact your payment provider and ask about a refund or chargeback.

As every year, we receive question after question about Christmas presents which were faulty.
The short, sorry answer is that any claim for a refund must be made by openng a case under eBay's money back guarantee, but this MUST be doe within 30 days of the date of delivery. There is no extension over the Christmas period.
If you haven't done so already it's far too late to get ny help from eBay now. Your best hope is to contact your payment provider, e.g. credit or debit card. Depending upon how you paid and the value of the transaction they may be able to help.
Otherwise, the lesson you have learned the hard way is to open and check all eBay purchases in time to claim a refund if necessary within the 30 day time limit.
