Hi there.
Please help.
Is anyone having trouble contacting a customer when they have paid for an item.
I have always contacted them to say "Thank you" for their purchases.
The message page comes up when you choose the item you have sold and then contact buyer, but I cannot
type anything.
I cannot even contact ebay, as this is not listed to start the ball rolliing.

What is it you are trying to ask?
Something in your message may be blocking it being sent.
Your latest items sold were all postal items, is a buyer now wishing to come and collect, and an address is needed from you? This could be the issue.
If it's a general message, and there is difficulty , contact eBay Customer Services, and explain what is happening.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

There is no need to contact buyers, ebay send message when you buy postage or mark as posted.
In fact, unless absolutely necessary ebay discourage you to message buyers.

There are so many other ways of contacting a buyer, that it should not mean none work.
Click on their ID or feedback number and use link on feedback page.

If you send these 'thank you' messages out a lot then it could be that you're being flagged up for spamming. eBay send out all the notifications that are required - purchased, dispatched, leave feedback etc. I prefer sellers to contact me only if there's some kind of issue that I need to be aware of.
