Issue completing bank verification for Sole Trader business account

Hello everyone, I am facing an issue while trying to complete the bank verification process for my eBay Sole Trader (business) account. Whenever I try to link my bank account, I receive the following error message: “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later.” Because of this, I am unable to complete the verification process and fully activate my business account. I am using my personal bank account for my sole trader business, and I want to confirm that this is correct. However, the system is not allowing me to complete the bank linking step. Could someone please explain why this error might be occurring and how I can fix it? I would really appreciate any guidance. Thank you.

Is your name on ebay and the one on your bank account exactly the same?

Yes, my eBay account name and bank account name are the same. However, I may have made a mistake while checking, so I would appreciate it if you could also double-check or guide me in case there is any other possible reason for this issue.

I am still receiving the same error while trying to complete the bank verification process for my Sole Trader account.

This account is showing as private. 

Maybe why you are having problems, upgrade to business account and try adding bank again.

Yes, I am currently trying to convert my account from Private to Business (Sole Trader). The issue started during the conversion process itself, and it seems to be stuck at the bank verification step.

Everything else in the setup process has gone through correctly, but I am unable to complete the final bank verification step, and that is where I am getting the error.

Could you please advise what might be causing this and how I can complete the conversion successfully?
