Have asked on here a couple times, about what is going on with eBay now them sending buyers the invoices immediately after a sale finishes thus blocking me combining postage if a buyer has bought multiple lots.
Have tried few times getting through to them with no luck.
Does anybody know if its a temporary glitch or have they changed it permanently on purpose if so "Why".?
Cannot believe by them doing it this way they receive extra cash from the postage if charged individually.
Timed by many thousands maybe so! Makes one think.
Please someone have the answer they have received directly from eBay.

Ebay always invoices, whether one or many. Combined invoices are not possible at the moment, ebay just suggests buyer pays in full and seller refunds overpayment.
I suspect that the problem is something to do with seller fees, which of course would still be payable on every individual item. You could of course with agreement of buyers, cancel sales and relist for them to buy as a “job lot”.

Hi John, Thanks for your reply, been selling on here for years and cannot remember so many changes what with the Buyer protection fees and telling us they are holding our cash until we give them our NI number.!
Suppose these I can live with although I am sure the BP will effect my sales, but this not being able to simply invoice the buyer after the sale myself like before is a real pain
I still get buyers who had bought lots telling me to hang fire with the combined invoice because they were bidding for more lots the next day and would I add them to it and post all together.
What was wrong with that maybe eBay losing out couple pence on postage fees!
To be honest now not being able to combine the postage like before and then maybe having to cancel a multiple lot sale so the buyer does not lose out paying extra postage, told maybe just refund them the extra postage they have paid, a new one doing "job lots"!!
Think for now better sit on the side line and see what develops.
