I am unable to message sellers in order to ask questions about their sale items.

The message tab to contact sellers does not allow me to type a question and the "send" button does not work.

Am I doing something wrong?

It could be the device or browser you are using.

Switch if you can to a PC / laptop and use Chrome,  try from there.
