How to mark as despatched these days?

Hi all,

So I've decided to buy my own postage for an item that I've sold through Royal Mail, which obviously comes with a tracking number...so how can i manually add those details to the sale to show that it's been despatched??

Seems odd that the only way my funds will get released is if I use eBays own postage features?!

Always used to be able to 'show an item as despatched' and manually add a tracking number....

As long as you disabled Simple Delivery during the listing process you can add the tracking and mark dispatched via the dropdown menu arrow on the right of the item on your orders page.

If SD was on listing and you didn't use that postage option see if you can add the new tracking to the order by going to the Order Details > Postage > dropdown menu (beside track package) > Add Tracking > + Additional Tracking Number.

If not contact ebay and ask them to do it.   You can use callback on here:

Without the tracking the money will be released anyway after 14 days.

I hope you realize that with simple delivery you don't get the postage money.

So if you buy your own postage, you pay full cost.
