Hello,
I did my first sale last week and the buyer paid for postage which ended up costing me more than what I had put. I bought the label myself using the funds from the sale, but I didn't have a printer and the post office said they couldn't do it because it wasn't the right QR code. So I voided that label and did it again, which cost me even more from my eBay sale funds. Again the post office couldn't use the QR code and I voided it. I just went on royal mail website and bought it that way so I could send it. But now I'm down TWO label costs which has ended up costing me more than what the item I sold was. I didn't use either of the labels so I was wondering if I'll be refunded for these 2 labels that cost me money from the funds? Otherwise it was pointless me even selling the item as it cost me over £34 all together with 3 different labels. 2 from eBay and 1 that I ended up paying with my own money. The sale was for £60 and I can only withdraw £28 from that £60... Will it go back into my eBay balance or have I made a big mistake? Thanks

If you had "free postage - seller pays" on your listing you can cancel the unused label here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
If you had the cost of postage on your listing that means the buyer pays for postage and they are automatically refunded for unused labels in 30 days.

None of them. It was "buyer pays". It went into my eBay funds with the product which I sold for £50. So I had £60 in my eBay funds. Then I paid for the postage using the funds. Which cost ME £20 out the funds. So it was his £10 and I paid an extra £10. Then I voided that label. Then did it again via the eBay "buy postage label" for £10. Then I voided that label again. So it cost £30 for 2 labels but he only paid £10. Then I went to the post office website and bought my own for £10.50. So all in all it's cost me £30 of my own money and £10 of his what he paid. So £40 all together.
I couldn't print the labels that's why they was voided.

See attached. I paid for both labels myself with the eBay funds. He only paid £10. But I ended up using £30 of the funds plus £10.50 of my own money via royal mail website. So it's cost me £40 all together. When the item I sold was only £50. I wouldn't of bothered sending it for that price if I knew I was going to be down so much...

OK, so international postage is not Simple Delivery and you have voided the labels which means you will get the money back to your ebay account in about 7 days.
